The Don Williams Automobile Gallery maintains a selection of historically valuable cars. They’re showcased like jewels on display with downlights illuminating the cars. It’s impressive, especially when I think of my cars covered up in a dark, cold barn.

Too much wealth in this town. Lots of Silicon Valley money. But when you see how close people park their cars together on roads with a 10% grade, all cars get dinged up. The nice ones are in garages and not on the street. I was surprised to see this well preserved Cutlass parked on the street.

Didn’t it seem like the guys with cool cars got the girls and the guys driving their mom’s station wagon couldn’t buy a date? Maybe it’s a myth or a stereotype stuck in my head.
