1950 Chrysler Windsor….
This is the story of a 1950 Chrysler Windsor that belong to my good friend Dave’s Father, Larry. This is the car that Larry had his first date with his wife Dorothy, Dave’s Mom, many, many years ago. The Windsor has about 54,000 original miles and has had one paint job in it’s 73-year life.
When Dave’s Dad passed away about 10 years ago, Dave had to figure out what to do with some of the cars in his Dad’s collection and that’s where the ownership changed. We worked out a trade and that way the car was kept in the family so to speak. The Windsor is very well documented and still has the original Spitfire 6 and Fluid drive transmission. It really is a fun car and knowing that Larry cherished it for all these years makes it even more special.
